Barry Roskin Blake                     Producer/Director

Barry Blake was bitten by the show business bug at the early age of ten. He began working in the theatre, which spawned his career behind the camera. He worked as a junior production assistant on the set of the Svengollie Show and started working in the cable industry shortly thereafter.

While interning for NBC in Chicago, Barry produced two segments for the May sweeps for the entertainment division. He began the syndicated cable show, Inside Entertainment, nine years ago and has collaborated for the last two years with Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Ron Koziol of the Chicago Tribune.

In the past fifteen years, he has conducted over 300 celebrity interviews with such notables as Danny Thomas, Roddy McDowall, William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Alex Haley, Jane Fonda, and many others. Barry also wrote and directed the foreign cult classic film "Hollywood Hills 90028" at the age of 23. He attended Columbia College in Chicago and the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).

Barry's latest projects under the banner of Harry Sylvia Entertainment include the Insiders Guide to PC Computers and Games and the upcoming Guide to the World  of Family Computers, Software & Games, the first in a series of instructional and informative videos geared to the personal home computer market. During this project, Barry worked with stars Dennis Hasking, Zachary Ty Bryan, and Ashley Johnson.
